I am a 65y o muso. In 2017 I stopped to care for mum who had dementia. Just before she passed I had a breakdown, which I still deal with. I have just started a podcast/website to deal with mental health issues as well as share my music and interests.

I’m gonna make two more comments. First is from an ageless musician point of view. It would be good to remind people that voting is only about the song. To vote politically is disrespecting the songwriters. Second. Wouldn’t it be nice just to have singers singing the song with minimalist accompaniment and under a spotlight.
It’s a song contest after all.

I “dyed” my hair grey about ten years ago. Love it despite my ex wife’s protests. Lol. Don’t think I’d go pink or purple. But I see a guy who has the brightest yellow hair in my locale.

My discussions around election time are centred around “all politicians are the same, can’t trust any of them, there’s no difference in the parties” I suggest they don’t vote, but they do. I just can’t understand why people elect a body of people they have no trust in. -

Agree with the politics in the voting. Russia have been in the event long enough to see it.
I’ll leave Putin and Russia to run their nation. It’s not our business. And maybe that’s the problem. Like many other countries, the UK sees fit to involve itself in other nations affairs. Politics and politicians again.
If the Eurovision proves anything it’s that people can get together with joy and harmony through the power of music. -
