I listen to a variation ranging from Queen, Motown and Tom Odel that quite a lot if people I talk to have never heard of him. Saw him live for the second time on Saturday at the o2 Acadamy Liverpool. It was excellant👏💖

I’m a bit late to the game with them, but y’know, there’s a lot of music out there.
French band called Gojira are getting my blood up at the moment. -

The Classics who are a band from California all of whom are post retirement age. I discovered them through their rhythm guitarist who is an ex-pat from my home town and who bought a copy of my poetical autobiography last year. They released a terrific CD called ‘Second Time Around’ which are cover versions of 50/60s rock. Unbelievable – better than the originals!!!

Anyone listening to Glass Animals? An indie band from Oxford. I had never heard of them till I saw an article saying they are number 1 in the USA.
I’ve had a listen but they do nothing for me.-

My Spotify has been suggesting lots of amazing stuff recently. The Seeds, Karen Dalton, CCR, Curtis Harding also loads of old Lovers Reggae.
Going to see Teddy Swims in July. Loving all the recommendations on here. Anyone going to a festival this summer? Never been to one but would love to.-
Mo001 3rd April 2022 at 10:18 pm
Thanks Rosie for posting. I love posting music questions as the RL group give loads of great suggestions of music to listen too. I’m not going to a festival this year but hoping to go to see a few bands, get back to live music. Have a great time at Teddy Swims 🎶🎶🎶😎

Like Listening to Jools Holland for a bit of chill-out.
This one is from a collaboration album he did a while back. Lots of different artists featured.
Jools Holland And Friends – Small World Big Band(with Suggs).
Oranges and Lemons Again.

I’ve been branching out from my go to genres recently on Spotify and found Samantha Fish, a blues guitarist singer songwriter. Really enjoying her guitar playing. Jackie Venson is another or something harder than Nightwish who have been going for years but I’ve recently rediscovered after listening to them back in the 1990s

Carrie Underwood is now a firm favourite.
