I’ve always wanted to Visit Prague, Russia, Ukraine, Norway, Thailand, Canada & Ireland, ( preferably Dublin to see where my family came from ). Also would love to go back to Singapore, Malta & Gibraltar to see how much they have changed since I lived there?

Nice choices 👍🏾 I lived in Asia for nearly 20 years including Singapore, Hong Kong and China so had the opportunity to visit most of the region on business or pleasure. Lucky that my firm had an office in Prague so visited there as well and loved the Absinthe 🤪

I fancy doing the river cruise Jane McDonald did through Spain, “Secrets of the Douro” I think I’ll look that up and start planning it as a 60th but not in January or February when my wife and I turn 60. We are not winter people so maybe aim for around the April.

I would like to travel to Canada. I want to visit Vancouver Island and would also go to Niagara Falls. Also, a few months later, a cousin of mine is getting married, and she asked me a lot to come to New York and be present as the bridesmaid. I’ve never been to New York, and that’s a good reason to visit. This company https://www.westgateresorts.com/blog/20-meeting-planners-nyc/ organizes the cousin’s wedding, and because I also work in this field, she asked me to make sure everything was fine. It will be a new experience to work with professionals in New York. That’s how I think my 2022 vacation will look like.

We have our own caravan, so since the mid-eighties our main holiday each year has been anywhere that we can drive to from the Channel Tunnel terminal at Calais. My wife was a teacher so we would usually be away about five weeks. Over the years we have camped in most regions of France and Germany with occasional forays into Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, Denmark and the Netherlands.

We have never been to Spain, but ironically we decided that 2020 would be the year that we would do so! We booked a ferry (Portsmouth to Bilbao) and our first few nights camping – and then the world went wibbly-wobbly.

But of all the places we have visited, our favourite has to be Bavaria – spectacular scenery, great food and good beer, I hope I can get back there soon.

We had a student from Okinawa over 20 years ago used to babysit for us – we are still friends with her and we keep promising to visit. We’ve visited mainland Japan and loved it, when we go back, Okinawa is an Island on our list.

Spain. I would like to travel around the coast/ rural, visit the scenery . All modes of transport train/bus ect on a budget ,staying at older peoples communities and going to peoples properties when they cannot be there to see if everything is ok and report back to them giving them piece of mind as they will probably only come out there a couple of times a year, security i know people dont know who you are so you would have to get established as genuine and trust worthy . I KNOW THIS METHOD SEEMS A BIT CHEASKATE BUT NOT EVERYONE HAS THE MONEY TO DO WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO DO ?. I would like to know what you think dont be shy and let me know how you would do your travel and places to stay , and pay as you go of course i am not looking to go on the bones of my arse but within reason a few days here and there to see the area and enjoy the food/lifestyle/sun/sea/and enjoy the family togetherness the spanish have , as i feel we are lacking in togetherness . thankyou .

That is what I found in Madeira.
The community spirt. Yes people are more afraid then before but if you contact a local tour guide or the tourist board they will put you in touch with the right group.
There are many locals in Madeira who rely on tourists so they tend to be more flexible and engaging.
I spent 3nights in Funchal. Flight(BA)plus 4* hotel for £352.This included baggage and transfers to hotel and back to airport.
I ended up going on my own as my friend was unwell.
        So glad I went.

The first on the list would be Italy because here you can eat the most delicious food. My friends always say, go and visit Italy because you will want to come back. And the second country would be Germany. Because I am passionate about history, and this country hides a lot of beauty in this architecture. In November, I got a ticket for the neuschwanstein castle tour https://www.montaregio.de/de/freizeit/freizeit-allgaeu/burgen-schloesser-allgaeu/schloss-neuschwanstein-im-ostallgaeu.html, one of the most beautiful castles in the world. The castle is of rare tremendous beauty with an interior design shaped by the romantic eclecticism of the 19th.

Iceland. The extremes of fire n ice is fascinating. Other than that I’d be ok on a boat trundling along British waterways.

We went out there not long before lockdown and although it was freezing cold, we loved it! Probably because it was very different to the usual holidays.
