What’s the acceptable etiquette here ……?

Now that everyone is showering and hair washing at the gym/pool to save money at home, I have noticed that some people are taking it to another level.

There seems to be an increasing number doing the full shit, shower, shave routine.

Firstly, I’m not sure that I could …… but secondly …. Is this a bit grim?

I am the least snobby person I know, but the idea of wading through people’s shaved pubes bothers me a bit.

I have also heard from a friend that a woman was dying her hair in there too!!!! What a Queen – I love her so much.

Opinions required please.

Do I need to pull my judgey pants out of my crack and get a life or are these people going a bit far?

Inviting humour to the occasion too – not just bitching.

The gyms / pools I’ve been to usually have book length lists of ‘don’ts’ (very few ‘do’s’) plastered up everywhere – no spitting, swearing, petting etc, that kind of thing, so if there’s waxing and washing going on I’m sure the management will be aware of it. If they’ve not added all that stuff to the banned list my guess is they’re ok with it – until of course someone pushes it too far and / or they get significant numbers of complaints.

Wasn’t like that in my day – the only people that shaved their pubes worked in porn movies. 🤣

Worst I ever encountered was sat in the sauna having a chill. These old fella comes in and starts shaving then gobs on the floor.

Can’t beat the great unwashed and what goes on.

      Always wear flip flops;)

Omg! I would have told him how dirty and utterly disgusting that was and all the germs… like meningitis… Then I would have gone straight to management.
(One time at a sauna, a guy started pleasuring himself!!… I thought i was seeing things! We couldnt believe it! Reported him and he got banned!).

Years ago (70s) we were on exercise in Germany, Munsterlager or Luneberg. can’t remember now. Anyway platoon at a time we were taken to an old German Barracks for a shower. Separate showers for the officer. Anyway a hollow square with changing and lockers in the middle. They had a gradual slope to the far corner where the water drained away. We were all out and drying off when the young 2nd Lieutenant turned up, Officers showers locked. He stood showering by the drain. All the lads were stood at the other side peeing. “Waters a bit yellow around your feet Sir”. “You disgusting, dirty bloody bleeders” lol. Happy days.

Before the original lockdown, ladies night in the sauna was pamper night. Hair removal creams for legs/under arms/bikini line, hair dyes for head hair, manicures, facials. Making the most of relaxing, not having to think does anyone want the bathroom, will anyone ring the doorbell. It wasn’t unknown to put the world to rights, either – providing Agony Aunt service.

Does this mean I can now “bomb” in the pool.
As for the other, sounds like there’s a business opportunity to get into to

When I were a lad, (and Shep was a pup), and in the Air Force, I remember being told by one guy that people who wash are just too lazy to carry their own muck around with them 😂

I ll just say now that I don’t subscribe to that view 😷😂
