I leave the door open for 5 minutes whilst I make a cup of tea. I take it back upstairs to drink in bed, only to find an unwanted half eaten gift on my bed.
Bedding changed. Washing on. Fresh cup of tea made.

I don’t get gifts mine bring bodies in and stash them. Rats go under the stairs with smaller birds. Bigger birds get left on the kitchen floor. Lovely to walk in and find a Thrush or Magpie waiting for me to remove assuming she’s moved and isn’t still guarding her catch

Didn’t even know it was there until it started smelling. I used to have pet rats. No chance of having any more with this little bugger lol

You need to start leaving the toilet seat up and train them 🤣🤣
At least it wasn’t on the floor 🤣🤣

She does that too next to one of the three, yes three litter trays. I wish I could train them to do that so much easier 🙂😂

Sometimes it’s the owners that are the givers of unwanted gifts! The gift of no cow sh#t, for example…

This is why I don’t have cats! My daughter has 2 house cats who are gorgeous but they don’t go out and so no dead birds, mice etc. On the other hand, my neighbour who rents has a barking dog (and I love dogs usually) and 2 house cats that she now lets out and they choose MY garden over theirs so I have had to invent the most heath Robinson methods to stop them coming over the fence. This has gone on a year and she knows I don’t like them coning over. But I do not want the field mouse who frequents my garden half eaten on my patio!

Squirt them with water if you see them. The cats not the neighbours 🤣🤣. I know you’d like to though.

That is strange I had a cat that was feral and some how took to me and it used to bring live mice into the bedroom as an offering then bugger off and leave me to catch the mouse lol
