Unemployed for at least a year? We’d like to hear from you
If you have been out of work for at least a year, we’d love to hear your experiences.
We are working on a story for the national media on this topic – to raise awareness of the difficult situation over 50s are in when it comes to finding work in the current climate.
You would need to feel comfortable sharing your story and a pic with a journalist.

Hello Aisling, been in and out of work taking anything I can at my age. Previous to this pandemic, I was in long-term settled employment.
Now to be honest, unemployed again, I feel a bit lost, overwhelmed and like a lawnmower salesman at the North Pole!
