anyone want to form a group and do some weekends away ?

Hi well its quite simple really if you fancy a weekend or midweek break look at what you might enjoy ,and noone to go with ,put up a post on here .
im up for camping glamping seaside ,forest whatever take a look at canopy and stars they have fabulous sites one person has already replied but wants a single hotel room .certainly come back to be with your ideas .best wishes Bern -

I think weekends are better for me as I work in the week . I live in chigwell but do not always have the use of a car . There are so many places to visit and possibly need to find peoples location and find a central place to visit first . I would be up for sharing a room as it would help with costs .

the problem is this was meant to be a Balanced group .if you have seen something on here ,whats stopping you from joining a group . its going to be tough to organise as there are people from allover the country and some people wont drive more than 1/2 hour some want 4star hotel its going to be like herding cats.
I think i may have opened a can of worms here ,hovever Ihave been talking to a few people and there is something being planned .

Anyway that was a joke but yes I can imagine trying to find something for everyone would be difficult. You could consider the weekends being connected to events around the country, like the myriad of food festivals there seems to be now. Yes Kernow is Cornwall but I am not there at the moment. I work in the international aid sector so currently on an overseas assignment.

I am willing to travel.
There are some beautiful places to visit ( with amazing walks ) In Derbyshire.
Hardwick Hall, Bakewell, Rufford Abbey, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Sherwood Pines just a few suggestions for you all.
