I think it’s only just being realised how important music is to humans and the feeling of well being it offers.
In hindsight I would have remembered my school lessons much better if they had been taught as a song because I can remember all the words of most of the songs of the 60/70s

I think Gainsbourg said the Pope was their best PR manager as it soared to success after he banned it in most Catholic countries! I speak French and while I get most of the lyrics-sure everyone does even if they don’t speak French 😉-I still don’t understand why the man says ‘moi non plus’ which means me neither after she’s said I love you? Perhaps it doesn’t bear too much analysis!!

I don’t understand french but it’s still a very sexy song all the same.
