      Dulwich was purchased by Edward Alleyn an Elisabethan actor who founded Dulwich College . The village still is very much still a village, and amongst other other attributes is the home of Dulwich Picture Gallery, the oldest public art gallery in England. Unfortunately closed at the moment.

      New Malden, ( in Kingston, Surrey) was established in 1846 when the railway arrived as a link to Waterloo

      Eros was the first aluminium cast statue it had another metal frame to give it stability.  Also it used to be that it used to be firing his arrow up shaftsbury ave. But when removed it was put up facing in the other direction.
