It was so lovely to sit by. Used to take me ages to get it going. . All the visitors loved the fire.

I miss the coal fire at the museum. We had to have it going all day. It was part of the visitor experience. Love the idea of the Netflix fire programmes. I have candles that smell like log fires. I put the coal effect electric on and light a candld. Hey presto real fire without th e hard work 🐱

Still feeling a little under the weather and keep sleeping. Not sure if it is a side effect from t he vaccine or just general feeling crappy after the heart attack. Never mind it will sort it’s self out. Not got anywhere to be I can wait.🐱

Oh I remember toast by the fire from when I was very young. Also got to relive that memory when I worked at The Black Country Living Museum
