My ‘go to’ is Delia’s Creole Christmas cake recipe topped with glazed nuts. I’m sure it’s online. Otherwise Nigella’s is good and last year I went completely off piste with one from a Waitrose magazine with gold sprayed marzipan! All delicious!

I always use Mary Berrys – it always turns out brilliantly!

Whatever recipe you go for I hope it turns out well – best bit is as it is a celebration cake there are no calories in it !!!

I always use Nigellas Chocolate Christmas Cake, it is very gooey & very easy. It is in her Xmas cookery book which I can recommend as there are some excellent recipes.

I recommend Delia’s traditional Christmas cake. I reduce the amounts (say 25%) of currants, raisins and sultanas and replace them with dried pineapple, dates, figs and any other dried fruit. When I feed it with brandy, I use Napoleon sometimes and cherry brandy other times. It’s always delicious 😋.

I also use Delia’s Christmas cake recipe. It never fails and keeps beautifully.

Always Delia, have considered others but as Delia’s always turns out well and keeps fresh for so long I keep on baking it year after year. I replace the currants with more sultanas and raisins. I live the way the home smells whilst it’s on the oven.

I am using the Mary Berry one too! In the cook book it stated clearly the ingredients for different sizes of cake tins. Extremely helpful and good. If you would like more information, please kindly let me know.
