Does anyone else play this game. It’s also called Boules. I didn’t realise (until I started playing) that the game is huge in England, with Leagues, national competitions and even internationals. Started plating about 2 years ago at a local club and thoroughly enjoy it. It’s a very social game and although I do play in a league it’s competitive only for fun. Not good enough to take it to that serious level yet.

I played after work on Fridays one summer (about 30 years ago). I was, and still would be, a complete non-expert, but I loved the relaxed competition and general ambiance of the game. I’d love to start playing again. Where do you play?

I play in Portchester, Hampshire. However there are many clubs around the UK. I started as a complete novice in Jan 2019, lost most of 2020 due to Covid but the club is back playing now, albeit under social distancing which actually isn’t that much of a problem.
