  • Over 65 and furloughed/made redundant during the pandemic?

Hi all, we have some data which shows that the over 65s who were previously working have seen the biggest drop in the number of their hours since the pandemic.

We are looking for personal stories to support our press release.  If you have found yourself in this situation – or know someone who has – I’d love to hear from you.  Please can you drop me an email to [email protected] to chat in more detail?

I hope to hear from you!

Furlough (n; v;) – a good way for an unscrupulous employer to get sceptical employees out of the way, while the employer wields an iron fist over the remainder of the workforce. (With apologies to Ambrose Bierce.)
