I’d quite like to attend if you’ll have me, but can’t say for definite just yet. Mums death has left me in a bit of a financial pickle so I won’t know until around the end of January if I can make it it or not.

The plan is to meet in Barnstaple, then get the bus to one of the beautiful beaches for a few hours, then return to Barnstaple for a lovely meal (I’ll try and arrange evening entertainment (music)). If not you, Cheers and Chojo will have to step in and belt out a few hits 😉. Along with some drinks and a lot of laughs, for an evening party 🍺🍹🎉🎉🎉😊x
I’ll confirm numbers beginning March, so that we can get booked. Barnstaple would be the best place to stay as we’ll be there in the evening 😊x

I love that area – particularly woolacombe – fabulous beach. I think Ilfracombe is next door – we went on a coach trip many years ago when kids were younger. Loved it!

Oooh I know Barnstaple quite well we used to do our weekly shop there when we lived near Bude might have to consider coming on this it sounds fun

This sounds like a great idea that I’d have been interested in doing had I not already been booked to act as support vehicle for a night time charity bike ride that my wife and her sister are doing that weekend. Next time maybe.
We stayed in the Barnstaple Travel Lodge a few years ago when I was running in the Bideford half marathon. Nice hotel but set back as it is behind a BP garage and a KFC it feels more like being stranded in an industrial estate than a trip to the seaside. Nice cafe at Sainsburys down the road though. -
Are we all aware that it’s a bank holiday weekend so traffic could be heavy on Friday and Sat morning?

For the guys arriving on Fri, we’re meeting at R&F hotel at 4pm and we’ll find a nice place for pre drinks and a catch up before our evening meal. (The rest of the guys can join as they arrive on Fri) 🍹🍺😎
On Sat we’re meeting at R&F hotel at 11am and the group will head over to Woolacombe 😎🍹🍺🏖
For anyone who fancies, a later start they can stay in Barnstaple with me for the guys arriving on Sat 😎😎😎
