I did a ghost tour round by the old cathedral and the little streets surrounding it, such a beautiful part of the city, shame its turning out like it is with all the new builds going up xx

So true, I have been there a few times and have never thought it was full of faceless concrete. There is a lot of history, if you know where to look.

Bailey Lane if I remember rightly. the black and white building was a pub called The Cross, and wall of the remains of the old cathedral on the left. I used to work as receptionist at the cathedral offices which is in the undercroft of the new cathedral. Many happy memories. Can’t knock Coventry in my presence.
Born and brought up there. many changes but true Coventry people are the salt of the earth.
