I bought them 1/2 a size bigger to allow for super thick socks. It worked a treat.

I covert a pair of flowery cowboy boots but I know I’d probably just stroke them lovingly and never be brave enough to wear them 🤣

The silver glitter ones I coveted in M&S some years ago. Totally impractical. Then they went on sale and I got them for £9.00 so now if I ever go anywhere special I wear the impractical boots. Makes people smile when they see my feet.

Not as frequently as I should but yes I do try to, very lucky to have great – if muddy, walking from the front door…..

I had a foot injury which had me in an air boot for 4 months _ hardly ideal in a 3 story B&B eh haha – I was in need of an alternative to support my foot and after a great consult at the local branch of Cotswold outdoors I found these Salomons, They are just fantastic and I would certainly buy again, I wear their GTX trainers for running up and down the stairs here too, my only issue is the colours can be a bit garish. Whatever you end up with it’s worth getting good advice from a shop that sells them all the time as there are so many variables.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely need to actually talk to someone. Our shops haven’t been open since November and it could be a while yet. Still no rush. 🙂

I would recommend Salomons too. The most comfortable walking boots I have ever had.

My wellies are in an OK state, just covered in mud! There will be a big boot/welly clean if it ever stops raining around here!

Will try to do that when the weather improves. My hubby will drill holes in the bottoms for drainage. I will put a pair either side of the backdoor. Saw something similar in a magazine once it looked great with trailling Lobelia.

They’re ‘well-worn’ and yes, we had snow last night and today. The best thing about these boots is they’re warm – it’s freezing outside! 🥶
