I still have to work so am not available 24/7. Also, I am on a low income so can’t afford that much. Please get in touch as I currently feel like a Billy no mates.

Thank you! Now you mention it, someone else on here was asking about it a while ago. Not sure which part of the country though. Looks a lot of fun!

I did go caching with my daughters when we were in Sherwood Forest and I loved it. She went again a few weeks ago.
Where are you Sapharica? I’m in Cambs 😊

Always fancied it, even registered to the website but never got round to it. Regular walker though so I may have another look. I’m in Cheshire.

Is it hide and seek?
No can’t be that because being tall might be a disadvantage.
What is it?-

Did a bit when I bought a handheld GPS unit – I’m based in the west mids, lots of things to find, hundreds in fact, good hunting…..

My wife and I have been active geocachers since 2009. We plan our holidays (both UK and abroad) around places where we want to go caching. We’re in South Wales so we can’t be much help, but I know that there is an active group in the area you mention. Try to get to a few geocaching events – it’s a great way to get to know the people in your area.

I would love to do this, if I went out, ( maybe I will go out again one day ). It sounds like a very interesting activity! I am in the North West UK near Manchester.

I downloaded the App, and tried it 3 times , never found anything! That’s with the help of my chihuahua, partner or daughter. I think I must be naturally crap at it 🙄

We used to cache as a family until my son died. Pretty much lost my interest in it after that. Cancelled our premium membership and haven’t done it at all in the last couple of years. 🥺

I have set up a number of Caches, enjoyed the hobby when my daughter was younger. This was in the old days when you needed a Garmin eTrex or similar.
I am still a fan, but there seems to be a subscription to get to some caches now. -

I tried geocaching but got fed up of not finding them even with accurate directions. I felt the whole secret-squirrel, anti-muggle attitude very off putting

Hi there your post has really caught my interest as I love walking as much as I can when I am not working. I am in North Hertfordshire and would love to learn more about this hobby. Ps I am tall does that help!?

I used to do this a fair bit with my wife when she was able, but it’s changed a lot over the years. It seems to have become more commercial and the variety of different types of caches and challenges is now far too confusing for me.
